More DetailsIn 2016, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Ningbo municipal government jointly established Ningbo China Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (NISCI). NISCI is a non-profit educational and research institute that operates independently under the guidance of the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics and is the only research institute jointly established by MIT and the Chinese government. We are also a member of the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network, which is currently consisting of research centers located in the United States, Spain, Luxembourg, Colombia, China and the United Kingdom, with 16 graduate and executive training programs (both virtual and in residence) offered in Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia, and more than 100 faculty and researchers, over 150 corporate partners, and 1,200 plus alumni working worldwide.
NISCI focuses on cultivating future generations of international supply chain management professionals. Towards this goal, we are introducing MIT's curriculum, teaching methods, and evaluation system in our full time and part time graduate level educational programs and executive training programs. We also established alliances to collaborate with industry on practical development needs, and heavily invest in both people and facilities. We strive to provide an exceptional teaching, research and learning environment for supply chain management.
